Greetings From Studiowizard; Date: Nov 2002 File: Readme.txt Theme Name: WinChicago 95 Theme Description: This theme was created using Theme Studio 99. The wallpaper was tweaked using MS Paint. The WinChicago icons were recreated using Icon Forge. The wav files and cursors are from the Windows 95 library. Chicago was the codename for Microsoft's Windows 95 while it was being developed. It was released in September of 1994, and was its own operating system. Although it was widely used as a shell in Windows 95, DOS was never required to operate Windows 95. But the initial release of Windows 95 was plagued with problems. With the introduction of the "Start" button and "Recycle Bin", Windows 95 offered a major upgrade in hardware support. Instead of a "My Documents" icon, the Chicago version of Windows 95 featured an "Info Center" icon which was linked to the user's "Mailbox" folder with subfolders of "Inbox" and "Outbox" as well as "Public Folders" of the internet that included a "Favorites" folder. There are two versions of this icon stemming from different betas of "Chicago" which I chose to use as substitutes for the "My Documents" icon; one for the Special Edition version and one for default version. Window 95 B was release later in 1996, and added USB support was well as many bug fixes. Your computer should either have Microsoft Plus! or Desktop Architect in order for this theme to work properly. Theme Installation for Windows 95/98/ME : 01.
