Do I need To Use A PnP Card In A PnP System?
Question:
Do I need to have a PnP motherboard in order to use Creative's new PnP
soundcards?
Answer:
No, you do not need a PnP-capable motherboard to use our PnP products.
Our PnP products come with Intel's ICM (ISA Configuration Manager) or
our own CTCM (Creative Tech. Configuration Manager) which allows you to
use the PnP cards under DOS and/or Win 3.x. Win95 supports PnP devices out
of the box and you won't need anything additional other than the drivers for
the particular card you are using.
