The kit includes Sound Blaster 16 Plug and Play with Creative's 3D stereo enhancement technology that provides a richer, more realistic sound quality. The Sound Blaster 16 is also upgradeable to wave-table synthesis for exceptional true instrument sounds.
Creative's quad-speed CD-ROM drive is an internal drive that includes an IDE interface for improved data transfer performance, faster software installation, as well as smoother video and animation. The drive provides a 600KB / sec data transfer rate, a 250ms access rate and multi-session Photo CD compatibility. Completing the kit are Creative's full range stereo speakers.
