Creative Labs Expands Communications Product Offerings With Launch of Phone Blaster

- Sub £250 Product Targets Growing Home Office Market -

September 7th, 1995 - Creative Labs the leading provider of multimedia products for the PC, today announced the launch of Phone BlasterT, an all-in-one telephone management system for the PC. Phone Blaster extends Creative's commitment to providing high value communications products to the SoHo (Small Office Home Office) and teleworker markets. The product incorporates voice, modem and fax features, giving the small office the telecommunication capabilities of a large corporation and the user the benefit of cost savings and enhanced productivity. Phone Blaster will ship this month with Sound Blaster speakers and will retail for £249 + VAT, it is also available with a CD-Rom drive for an additional £50.

Features of Phone Blaster
Phone Blaster gives corporate telecommunications capabilities to the small business consumer through a single card with a 28.8K bits per second modem, complete Sound Blaster 16 audio capability, a full-duplex speaker phone, voicemail capabilities, an IDE CD-ROM interface, integrated telecommunications software and online services.
