Cannot Play CD Audio With A CD220E Drive In OS/2 Warp

Some of Creative's CD220E users may find that they cannot play CD Audio using the CDROM drive in OS/2 Warp. The reason is due to the differences in the specifications for ATAPI between Microsoft & IBM for playing CD Audio. This problem only occurs on CD220E with firmware version 1.01 and earlier.

Solution:

This problem is resolved by installing an updated IBM ATAPI driver. You can download this file here.
