Creative establishes its first Chinese Software Centre in Singapore to provide better customer support for Creative's Chinese software products.
Wave Blaster™, an add-on daughter board that complements Sound Blaster 16 series of audio cards, is introduced. Based on E-mu Systems' digital wave synthesis technology, Wave Blaster offers the highest quality synthesized music and sound effects available to the PC environment.
Creative announces that Sound Blaster will support Apple Computer's cross-platform multimedia software, QuickTime™ for Windows™ which will include drivers for Sound Blaster.

CUBIC CT, a multilingual, multimedia PC, is introduced into the Singapore marketplace after only 6 months of design and development.

Creative introduces CUBIC 99, the talking computer which can "talk" in both English and Chinese; and Cubic Phone Sitter, an add-on telephone/answering device software/hardware enhancement to Cubic 99.
