SINGAPORE - 27 June 1996 - The Board of Directors of Creative Technology Ltd (the "Company") has announced, with regret, the resignation of Mr Chay Kwong Soon as President and COO of the Company effective 30 June 1996. However, he will continue to remain as a Director of the Company.

In his letter to the Board, Mr Chay stated that his resignation was due to personal reasons, to enable him to pursue other interests. The Directors have commenced the search for a new President for the Company. Meanwhile Mr Chay will continue to assist the Company in manufacturing operations and other transition issues.

The Board wishes to thank Mr Chay for his significant and invaluable contributions to the Company and wishes him success in all his future endeavours.
